Snowden charged that the Obama administration had rendered him “stateless” - lashed out at the Obama administration for using “the old, bad tools of political aggression”

Stuck in limbo with no countries rolling out the welcome mats for him, Edward Snowden on Monday lashed out at the Obama administration for using “the old, bad tools of political aggression” in pursuing him.
“Their purpose is to frighten, not me, but those who would come after me,” the NSA leaker continued in a statement posted on WikiLeaks, his first public comments since leaving Hong Kong for Moscow about a week ago.
Snowden, who revealed information about highly classified surveillance programs and rode out the initial storm in Hong Kong, is seeking political asylum in several countries, including Ecuador and possibly Russia. His future remains unclear as he remains in limbo, reportedly in Moscow’s airport. The U.S. has revoked his American passport, and no one has promised him safe passage yet.
